A new pilot study carried out in Denmark has discovered that people suffering with Migraine headache as well as aura, benefit from a new inhaler.
The inhaler uses a combination of oxygen and carbon dioxide to interrupt the migraine cycle and normalise the vascular supply thereby removing the symptoms of migraine. The effects are almost instant.
This study was only a pilot involving 11 people, but a much larger study is being setup to explore this in more detail.
